Baby / child seat

Post by skellyjohn » Sun Oct 14, 2007 2:16 pm

I need to buy a car seat for Alice. It's the next one up from baby seat. Any suggestions that will fit into an s1 111s?

I've had a look through the SEARCH but couldn't find anything.

I think it's a maxi-cosi priori that I've got - fits well in the Elise. You'd best check in case you've different seats (or my memory's crap...) though.

I got a VW one which has a tray/ support that covers the childs legs and helps hold them up from 2 years and Up to 6 if I remember sitting in the garage doing nothing you can have ~ wont be able to get pic's till Tue if your intrested

I do remember that the Car manufactors seats being much better constructed/ finished than the after market ones at Halfrauds and not that much more expensive

Mr Jacobite, that sounds ideal as the other car's a Golf and we'd be looking to use it in both. If you find it, let me know how much you'd like for it.

Thanks John

Hi John
definitly got it ~just need to collect it from a garage across town.
its a Bobsy G1 I think (navy blue colour with multi coloured cars on it)
It'll just cost you ur petrol to collect it & thats all ~ just cluttering up some storage space and my kids have out grown it
I work some crazy shifts but off Tue and Wed usually if you want to try and arrange to collect it some time PM me

The Recaro "Start" goes from 1yr old to 12 yr old because the width and height can be adjusted. It fits in my Elise but spends most of its time in our C4. Not the cheapest but does fit and will last until our daughter is old enough to not need anything. Also has built in headrest speakers so we can plug in an ipod later on and not hear it too loudly! :)
