Calling Edinburgh peeps - safe to park on Lochend Road?

Going to visit a friend at her new flat in Edinburgh tomorrow. Flat is on Ashville Terrace in Leith but she's told me to park in Lochend Road as it'll be easier. What's that area like? Will be parked from around 7pm til midnight. Is it safe for the Exige?

If not, any secure carparks nearby that won't cost a fortune? Happy to walk 20mins or so to get there.

Cheers,
D

Aah, Mr Shanks! Good evening sir,

Your green respray with white stripes is ready now sir. We've even thrown in a free complimentty kebab

If i were you, id park it right outside the flat, but it'll probably be fine.... but dont quote me on that.... I had my s3 parked not far from there for a year, without any bother. It was blue too

Alright Mr. Weegie. How the hell are you? You still down in the big smoke? I'll be there from Wednesday onwards (weekdays), so let me know if you'd like to meet up for a wee drinky. I'm staying in a hotel near my client's offices in the Docklands / Canary Wharf area.

Parking . . .

Well, she said it was really tight to park just outside the flat. Plus, we're going to somewhere called the shore for food, so would I be better taking the car down there with me?

Cheers,
D

Paul, thanks for the advice mate! :thumbsup Parked at Malmaison carpark behind the hotel, right up the back tucked behind an A6 estate so nobody could even see the Exige from the road. Car in one piece when I returned. :D Cheers!

Although . . . . feck knows what all those cobbles have done to my suspension! I've never seen so many cobbled streets in my life!

Or Comley Bank Avenue (Edinburger)

Every time i drive down this road, i'm expecting the wheels to fall off with the vibration !
