This is the result of a Bardon Aggregates lorry running into me this morning.
Doesn't look too bad but the clam is cracked right through especially round the lights.
Steve reckons it will be about £3000 to supply and fit a new clam so I have put it in the hands of help hire, they will authorise the repair, no excess to pay and a like for like hire car, then they recover all the money from the other insurer.

But like for like is good.
Nothing faster than a hire car!
(Apart form a spotty yoof in an AstraMax Van!!

Sorry to hear about your accident . I think we need to get shares in Steve Walker .
I replaced the word d.i.n.g. with accident .

Bummer....still, not bad considering it was a lorry!
Helphire done me proud under the like-for-like thing last year.
Away went the elise, and along came.........A VW Touran
(Little bit of 'discussion' ended up with an audi s4 conv to be fair- still not quite an elise though

Sorry to hear about this AJT. Where did it happen ? I am aware there is some kind of Aggregates place on the road between Polmont and Linlithgow.
Good move to use Helphire when clearly not your fault. My Scooby WRX was 6 weeks old when a Stagecoach bus decided to take the side off it at a roundabout. I used Helphire and they were excellent. Mind you they supplied me with a 1.8L Vauxhall Vectra at the time as a replacement for about 10 days

Remember and tell your insurance co. about it though, even though you are not using them for the claim.

Was on the Beancross Road this morning.
Traffic was really heavy as there had been an accident on the Inchyra roundabout.
Had to laugh when I was on the phone with the lorry driver tonight he said once he rolled into me he had to stand up in the cab to see what he had hit
According to Helphires site they will inform my insurance but I will make sure they do.
