I quite like it! - roof could be a lightweight plastic :) much simpler than the fabric malarky on the cars just now...

mj9... I was seeing a hotlink error. Right click, get the properties and paste the address in to your browser. After that, it'll be in your cache anyway so you'll see it again if you re-open the thread.

I think it looks like something Audi would design.

But I like it, hopefully it is still light.

Go to http://www.sandsmuseum.com then once the site's loaded, paste the rest of the url in i.e. cars/elise/merchandise/miscellaneous/lotusdesign/elise3.jpg
You'll probably get the hotlink image again so then click refresh and it should work.

Mexico City based TECNOIDEA, S.A DE C.V (http://www.mastrettadesign.com) has presented the first prototype of its new
MASTRETTA MXT sports car.

The MXT is a two seat, mid engine sports car to be offered in local and international markets.
Developed in house by our design team, the MXT project has also benefited from of a two year collaboration program between our company and some prestigious engineering companies based in England and the USA.

The frame has specially developed aluminum extrusions with steel complementary subframes. The suspension uses unequal wishbones all around.
The body will be produced using closed mold,

the sandmuseum design is so unlike an Elise and as the chances have to be a reskin again of the same chassis, either the tracking will be very narrow or the cill will be about 18" wide.

their is no waist to the car as with S1 and more notably the S2

it is what gives the car such a dramatic look, most cars are fairly straight front to back to maximise cabin space within a footprint, the Lotii of course don't worry too much about that but do want the maximum track width

as for the orange thing!!, too much going on, too many angles.

although I have an S2 the simple look of the S1 is far more pleasing, look at TVR's, for me the best design was the Griffith after that its all a bit over designed, still wouldn't say no to a Sagaris!!!
