Does anyone know if there is going to be an S3 or say supercharged elise released from Lotus in the near future
Fancy a change car wise - but for some reason dont want to go Exige S as I think the lack of rear view and roofless action will annoy me
Getting the 2 year itch to change my car and want to stay Lotus

No word on the S3 yet.
S/C elise is not far away. Talk to MM they might know?

Was in speaking to Graeme at MMC a couple of weeks ago but he said he wasnt aware of a S/C elise in the near future
Still got him to put my name down on a list for one of the first if they ever do one

Why not give Lotus Motorsport a call - they might have something in the pipeline.

Options do seem a bit limited if you're looking to stay with Lotus mate, helped in no small part by the fact you're bored by what's basically the top line elise model at present! The only 'upgrade' there would be is to a Sport Racer, and that's just LSD and traction control
Do you need it to be a relatively user friendly car? i.e. are we ruling out the likes of Caterhams/Atoms/2-11s/340R?
Could it be the perfect time to upgrade to an S1?

Hows about a Honda'd car?

(Elise) 255R?
If you are keen to spend I have no doubt that the boys at Lotus Motorsport would do you a one off with a soft top. Might be a problem with putting an Elise clam on it given the supercharger set-up but you never know.

Not fancy a Europa?
Ok, it's got a turbo instead of a S/C but get a nearly new one (at a massive discount) and spend some cash on upgrades and you have a very nice, very capable car. Better power to weight than ANY of the Exiges
Looks are growing on me too.
Think I've talked myself into getting one...

The elise is my second car so it doesnt have to be practical - have a company hack for work, it was a CTR until I wrote it off

a few months ago but I have a new Focus ST2 arriving any day now which softens the blow
Am very tempted with a 340r asfter droolong over Cammys all weekend at Tut Towers
Decisions Decisions
I do like the Europa but again you cant take the roof off

How about the turbo conversion from hanger 111?
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....
