Yep love a bit of GTR 2 on my projector. Here is a clip of me "driving" (very badly) around KH in a motorsport elise.

Stewart, looks very cool on the projector! Not played GPL for a while - not often you'll get a 10yr old computer game that's still ranked as one of the best driving simulators - it's still the daddy in my book
You looked at the iRacing stuff? Its by Dave Kaemmer of gpl fame too... not out yet but looks interesting....
You play either online at all?? Might be up for a race sometime
Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, not my best effort at driving, but that is because my simple camera only takes 30 secs worth of video. I was so busy trying to set it all up that the driving was second.
It's typical of a computer game - you take a lot more chances when there are no risks i.e killing your car or yourself. I have since upgraded to GTR 2 and have now done a few TD's at Knockhill myself. I must say that with the caterham add-on it is as close as I have come yet to a "real" driving experience.
I have raced GTR a little on line but used to do a lot of online racing with GPL back in the day on a dial up modem
I spent years upgrading kit to be able to run GPL well and I have to admit that this is probably one of the reasons that I bough at Lotus as I loved "driving" the Jim Clark Lotus 49.
Never heard of the iRacing stuff but will keep an eye out for it as Dave Kaemmer is the driving sim god.
It would be good to have an SE online night over the coming winter months.
