Hi my Walshy day is next week, and they said I will definately need new tires after it...
Now I have NO IDEA what tires I need, don't know what I currently have either.
I need to fill in this form:
http://www.carlimits.com/script/tyres.php
Any help appreciated!
Gary.

I have black round ones at the moment, and yes will be using all throughout the winter.

It's written on the sidewalls....
I'd go for Yokohama AD07s, for all-round use but not sure if the guy Washy uses can supply or not (I think they are dealer-only)

GAry - didn't your car get washed by one of those car-washing geeks recently? IIRC there were wheel pictures on the write-up - have a closer look at the sidewalls.
I'll go out on a limb here and say you're on AD07s at the moment. Get yourself another set.
May I suggest you don't get rid of the old ones... on the basis of your form to date, there's probably 5mm left and someone will kill 'em off properly

I have about 2mm I think, maybe 1.5mm - but I have also done 10K miles on them

Will go to Halfords later and get a Tread Gauge.
The tires seem to be sticking fine, maybe I am exaggerating.

It's cold & wet, therefore you have less grip.
j2lot told you the legal depth in the bit you quoted. I'd bet you're just looking for something to spend money on....
