TOMTOM ONE GB V3 GPS Receiver.
Anyone had experience of this particular Model.
Good/Bad best price and availability.
Or is there something better out there?

Likewise I have the 910 which I picked up on eBay for £210. It has the hard drive, and also covers the USA and Canada.

However the 720 is out now, Robbie had one on FF, and it is a very worthwhile improvement. Bigger screen, much slimmer and lighter, and takes voice commands for navigation.

However you will have to pay close to full price, and it only has an SD card. I presume the 920 will be out shortly, but again even more expensive.

Troll eBay for a new or barely used 910.

I had a look at the 910 but opted for the 710 due to price, also I had no use for the remote control and would never dowload pics/music onto it (I think this is the only diff. apart from US and canada maps which I will def. no use either)
The bluetooth hands free and european maps (heading to france/italy for honeymoon at the time) was the main reasons I went for this one.

Seen a couple of 710's on ebay for the £160 mark for the money you would buy the tom tom one I reckon you could get a 710

Watch out! The traffic function will steal all your phone credit!

...maybe that's just Robbie.

Used the TomTom One Europe on our Austria alpine tour last month.

Performed very well - got the speed camera and traffic on it as well.
