Rawl Bolts :thumbsup

as long as it's mounted onto something solid (not plasterboard! ) I am guessing (and as a result will not be held responcible) the weight is almost entirely verticle so if you can't pull the bracket off it should be fine after all it's easy to hold a weight close to your body but hard to hold it at arms length, if you get my analogy

Yeah - but it's shear strenght you need to worry about.

That said your average 6" nail can carry about 1/2 ton of weight!

Don't know the construction of the wall.... looks like plaster... but thats why we need a structural engineer dude.....

it's for 2 walls... 16 plasmas on each wall in a 4x4 grid.... about 500kgs for each grid....

Its not the shear strength of the plug/screws/bolts that is the problem but the shear strength of what you are fixing into.

Plasterboard wont work Dave

You will have to remove the plasterboard, add and position plenty of new timber studs (assuming its a timber stud wall and not brick) full height in the positions you need to put your anchors/brackets and reboard it. I wouldn't risk fixing through the board to where the studs appear to be.

Hit the wall firmly, you'll be able to tell what it is made of and report back!!

Chances are, even a stud partition well fixed at the headd and properly constructed will do the job.

Sheathing in ply will help spread the load and allow for additional fixings.

If its brick just use decent rawl plugs and make sure all the screws are nipped up nice and tight.
if evolution don't take care of it, redesign it
