SLR Borrow / Hire...

Just had the front of our shop completely refurbished - All the wood sanded down, repaired, stained and varnished...Plus had a brand new canopy fitted to finish off the 'ye olde' skool charm look... 8)

(Also have a brand new tartan that's just arrived, and is proving rather popular...)

Quite keen to take some decent pictures of the above for promotional use etc...

...unfortunately we don't have anything much better than a 3.2mpx compact, which is as old as the hills... :(

Does anybody in the central belt have a Didgy SLR I could borrow for a few days in exchange for beer / bacardi breezers / kudos & gratitude?

:D :D :D

Failing that, does anybody know of anywhere that'll hire one to me for a reasonable rate?

Ta!

Ross.

Ross,

originally assumed you were after a McLaren SLR

You are very welcome to borrow my ( Canon 400D ) SLR for a few days. I'll be in Stirling so can drop it off to you this afternoon.

Excellent! :D

That would be very much appreciated - Unfortunately I'm offshore at the moment, but I get back next Tuesday...Would it be possible to hook up after then? (iirc you stay around about Doune?)

As for a McMerc...Having sat next to me at KH in my Caterham and witnessed my dodgy driving first hand, I doubt you'd be terribly keen to give me a shot, even if you did have one tucked away in the garage...

Ross,

No problem - I'm in Dunblane so can drop it off to you any time. Alternatively I could leave it with Pete(039) at Corrieri's cafe ( my second home ) , assuming you're still travelling past that way.

I assumed a Caterham SLR would be not be suave and sophisticated enough for your new venture.

I was quite impressed by your "dodgy" wet-weather Caterham driving.
