After almost 4 years together my Ipod has finally left me  Used her for hours almost every day, 3 batterys changed, 7000 or so tracks with not even 10% backed up

Tbh I had considered trade her in for one of the new slutty video ones but I stayed loyal and couldnt be assed spending days transfering tracks.

Now i dont think I could find anything to replace her

Damm I really did love that gadget  Not been this upset about a toy since christmas 84.

aah, that sucks then! does the drive still spin up at all? does windows see it as a hard disk when you plug it in? Does the ipod even register as a USB or Firewire device in windows device manager?

i was a bit upset when my g1 ipod died but you'll get over it - it'll just take a bit of time.

Cheers,

Steve
