Had one experiance with snow. Left Glenrothes around tea time, met the snow in Forfar about 7pm.. after 3am before I made it to Aberdeen.
Car was bloody awful in the snow and I had new T1r tyres on. Basicaly put the car in gear and let the idle move you, dont touch the throttle ever, keep the foot over the clutch and stick in neutral if it feels if its sliding.
Cadence brake as required, agressivly. Not sure how a new fangled ABS one will be. Avoid stopping at all costs as you will get beached on anything over 100mm deep.

I've been down in York since Saturday... glorious sunshine (some bare-chest car washing action to be had). Drove back up yesterday... glorious the whole way.
5 miles short of Edinburgh, grey... by-pass, spots of rain... Livi dull and cold as ever. Called back down to York to find it was still glorious and the forecast was week long sunshine. Looks grey and cold here in Livi again.
If it weren't for the kids... I'd be moving South for better weather and more choice of tracks.

I found the elise great in the snow. I had a 4x4 sierra, with snow tyres, set up for off road events at the time when I had the elise, but it was the Liz that was taken out for playing in the snow
Dukes pass is great fun in the snow
