Seen a few of them in London at the weekend and Im not a fan at all - think they have missed the fashion boat with the white ceramic, all imo of course

Oh no, I really like it. You can get it with black ceramic too, but I think it looks to mannish. Haven't tried it on though so knowing me I'l prob change my mind and will prefer the black one!!

It's not really the ceramic that draws me to it. I would still like it if it was all s/s too. I like the way it looks overall, particularly how the only number is 12 and the layout of the diamonds as well. Bling, but not OTT, like the other model of the Formula one ladies watch.
Here it is in black:

That's it then, sold!!

Although I could get either colour cos my car's white with a black roof! Ali, are you back at work yet? I have something for you!
So what colour do you all think looks better? I can't decide now! Go to the tag website, it's modelled on Maria Sharapova.

I think the White might date , black is a better long term option.

It does appear to be more fashion than functio Jen?
I think a more traditional watch such as a (used) Rolex or a CartierTank Francaise would be a far better way to spend your money
The current Mrs Boag alternates hers when in business mode and wears the Diamond Omega for the occasional bling nights

To me a CartierTank Francaise just oozes class... Utterly timeless, instantly identifiable - just lovely.
Mrs Pete has a lovely steel Rolex which is also classy as hell but doesn't keep time 'cos it's fake. Damn shame as you can't tell, but it makes buying anything real very difficult... (The Cartier we bought Mum at the same time keeps perfect time and also looks the part - I'm not sure if it would stand a side by side comparison but in isolation it's perfect).

FWIW, I think it's an up-market copy, or 'homage'. I was never a fan of the chanel J12 so needless to say I'm not a huge fan of this.
I should say that I'm not a huge TAG fan anyway, and I think a more timeless design would be a mid-size rolex or even an 'older style' 39mm men's watch. You can pick these up for similar money if you know where to look and you will be able to pass them on for similar money if you go off them. Unlikely to happen with something like this.
Also a shout for some Omega models. Mrs R alternates between a Rolex Air King and an Omega Seamaster. She prefers the Omega.

I'm going to be in the market for a new watch in a month or so. Current thoughts are a speedmaster or a monaco but think i'll need to try them on first and see what works best.
If anyone hears of any used ones coming up for sale please let me know

Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Quick Q for Mr Boag et al...
Is it only certain models of Seiko Monster that considered to be 'grail'? They don't seem hard to come by new, so I'm guessing there's something I'm missing...
