Ah, you have been invited too. Wicked!
Two stickers arrived today but they are massive.
What size do you all want them in. I was thinking 80mmx80mm??

80x80 sounds good to me.
Remind me, are these reverse window stickers or bodywork stickers?

OK. I've been sent two different types.
One laid out to show Scottish Elises more readable and the other which is more badge like which I prefer.
Derek,
Do you want me to get him to print a green one for my car.....I mean your car?

The bottom one looks cool.
I suppose it could also be chopped up to place the web addy in the back window on one side with the round badge on the other? Nice.

both look fine - the top one would be easier to read tho and from an advertising point of view that may not be a bad idea!
quite happy to give both window room on my elise tho so just let me know where to send the money

Gareth,
Happ to go wih the blue - It'l go with the blue Le Mans stickers and looks (a bit) like the Ecurrie Ecosse badge of old.
The bottom one gets my vote too.

Funny you should mention that Derek - I quite fancy getting a one-off made for my front clam, 'cos I've got an Ecurie Ecosse on the other side, it would add balance to the car </zen>

It must have been mad to be involved with Ecurie Ecosse in the '50's. Imagine running a Le Mans winning race team from a back-street garage in Edinburgh! Doesn't really fit in with the world as Bernie E like us to live in now.
I'm always looking for EE bits and pieces. At a show earlier this year a trader was wanting £150 for an original EE lapel badge. Prices have gone really crazy for original stuff in the last few years.

Tell me about it. Got a mate who's father has a set of dunlop drivers overalls from EE - 100% kosher and original (knew some of the original team). He doesn't like to talk too much about them....

There is not much to compete with that! Good to see it's still held locally though, rather than off to the US or Japan like so much of the team history.
Managed to see the Transporter when it was up here a couple of years ago, with the C and D types on the back. It's great that these things have been restored and are still being used too.
I got talking to JC's race mechanic at Donnington this year. He was there with Classic Team Lotus. Very intereting man, and could have listened to him all day. Perhaps it's time for a run to the Jim Clark rooms in Duns?
