In fact.... I'll say it again... I drive a 911 every day.

This fact is so awesome I had to say it twice. There are 1,000s of people who'd kill to do that but can't.

Therefore having a 911 makes me awesome. Fact.

Amusingly, the one colour I didn't want was silver but somehow ended up with one.

Bland?!? Hahahahaha... Yeah.. Ok.

Btw... I just remembered... I drive a 911.... Every day!!!! Woooohoooo.....

No surprise there given they are under the same umbrella, eventually they will all likely be cross platform designs. 911 would be the exception.

Durability and ease of repair. That and they are expensive to make due to relatively low volume.

If you had unlimited funds what would you run out and buy? how do you measure desirability? does it have to be attainable, so one day you may/may not find yourself in a position to buy one or is it something you figure you will never be able to own unless you win the lottery.

Love this Dave!

Personally im not a Porsche fan, however, the new cayman S, best looking car the have made for a long time,

I agree with scotty the cobalt targa is stunning and i like the sienna brown too,

GT3's aside i generally don't like 911's nowadays, but as a kid i had many aspirations of having a 911 turbo, the aircooled ones had serious sex appeal!

It could be because i live in Aberdeen and they are all silver, black or white (and there are hundreds of them) that i don't like them, in the same way i look at a black or silver m3 - i appreciate what it is but cant get excited about them,

But... On the rare occasion i see a guards red, yellow or cobalt blue number i think, fcuk that's nice!

The yellow Gt3 that used to go about Aberdeen was georgeous :thumbsup, but I have not seen it for a while now. There used to be a guy who came to visit one of my neighbours and he owned a dark blue 997Gt3 RS and it was stunning too.

I agree with you on the Porsche front regarding the amount of owners in Aberdeen now, no doubt a great car, but only the Gt ones or the older models have me giving them a second look nowadays.
