PS - The Zenos is slightly ahead as I like to be a bit different, it would be the only one North of the border when it arrives.
Brandon's predecessor often used to say something similar
If you want touring ability, the Elise is the answer.
If you want raw excitement, it's the Zenos.

You've done exactly what I would have done and ticked all the option boxes, most of which can be replaced with a can of man up

. Why not stick to your original plan of a launch edition car at £29k that'll (probably) still run rings round most things on track?

Its a tough choice Kenny, as Tut said, chalk and cheese.
I know which one I would choose, for now, but if it helps, I know of a nice red 211 that could be yours for much less than both

Jeezo like he needs another 'project'!

Only one in 15 months, so dont think its that bad. And only after a full tank run at spa, 100 miles, flat out. Now thinking thats the problem , not the car

Mine's not a project - just driving pleasure. Tell you what, as it's you and you are such a fine chap, I'll throw in a NEW engine. FITTED.
Can't say fairer than that.
As a gesture of goodwill the engine swap has begun, I attach this photo as proof.

Lord no! It will come fully installed and ready to drive away. It also has a ROOF and a WIRELESS*.
Will the 2-11 come with drive shafts, or at least a short instructional movie showing how they are fitted?
And the appropriate tools?
*Although I took the speakers out to save weight.

Pete what happened to your engine? Will it be ready for Oultwell?
Kenny, I think I'd go for the Elise (or 211) as you'll have better depreciation and you can use the Elise in the winter months which is when it can otherwise be really boring. But as 'Our Graham' would say "The decision is yours".....
