Have always found Lotus to be helpful and happy to receive e-mails /calls. It is one of the benefits of dealing with a smaller specialist outfit rather than a global empire- real people to deal with

Would have to agree – needed a clip for the roof on my S2 Elise a few years back and just decided to call the factory. Spoke to a chap and ended up emailing a picture of the damaged clip, he then replied later on with the exact part number – result!
However today I’m still waiting for the stage 2 exhaust I ordered when I bought the club racer which is disappointing. Obviously not as big a deal as the guys that are waiting for the new Exige but I didn’t think there would be such a delay on parts, especially with the new Elise.

Cashflow is King and I guess they are truly strapped. As per the usual sentiment, let's cross our fingers that they work it out and Lopez rides in on his black and gold charger. Sorted.

There's a fairly positive
blog on Evo that's worth a read plus and an
interview with Dany Bahar where the Exige gets a mention. Looks like it'll be last to be built though - Elise, Elise S, Evora, and Evora GTE first.

Add in the Exige S and you have a 5-car lineup. Sound familiar?!

Good news and even more reassuring they have money available so having decided to stick with Lotus they may also pump in more money

That's great news.
Let's hope that they invest a large sum of money in the coming years.

'The owners of Lotus have said they have not decided to sell the Norfolk-based sports car maker.'
Is it just me or could that still be ambiguous:
they have decided not to... would be clear - they are keeping
they have not decided to ... they might still decide to sell, they just haven't decided yet
Pedant mode off
Either way the news is better than the speculation of recent weeks
