Best £20 I've ever spent. Great crowd, fantastic atmosphere and a damn good lot of drams! Worth the extre fiver they are charging for 2013

Interesting programme :thumbsup
Brought back many happy (if a little blurred at times) memories of some distillery visits.

Really enjoyed that program.

Is anyone a member of the Scottish whisky society? Is it worth joining?!
Trying to get my hands on a bottle of their lagavulin. :thumbsup

I was for about four years. Quite a weird place, now much more busy than it used to be so its lost that 'private club' feel it used to have. Their stuff is all single cask at cask strength so it all tastes very different to what you expect (and they dont have whisky from each distillery). Food was really disappointing the last 2/3 times i went.

Go along a few times too see if its worth joining. Granted its only £100 a year so hardly the New Club, but money down the tubes if you can drink whisky you like for the price of a dram in Whiski Rooms or Albannach on the Mound and Mile respectively :thumbsup

I'd be massively grateful if people could take a minute to vote for me to become Iain McArthur's apprentice for 2 days at Lagavulin. If you do there could be a dram in it for you.

Thanks
