I have a Western Digital Live 1080p Media Player. Play a wide variety of file formats including MKV, MP4, XVID, AVI, WMV, and MOV

£69.99

There is also a remote control app which works great.

Like you Sanjoy i have been through a host of solutions:
Roku3
- netflix
- novtw
- ethernet
- dnla (nas streaming)
- no tunner
- most file format (no .mkv iirc)
- remote control
XBMC on Raspberry Pi
- all file formats to date
- ethernet
- no netflix / now tv
- remote control
- stream from nas
- no tunner
PC
- no decent remote control
- all file formats
- ethernet
- netflix / now tv
- remote control
- stream from nas
- no tuner (could add a card i guess)
PS3
- remote control
- stream from nas
- netflix
- no nowtv
- no mkv
- DRM issues
- ethenet
XBOX one
- no DLNA
- netflix
- no now tv
- remote control
- cant test file formats
- ethernet
No matter what solution I apply they are only 90% of the package i need i find e.g
- support all video file formats (mkv, mp4, avi etc).
- ethernet (avoiding wifi imo)
- digital tuner
- netflix
- now tv
- dlna (stream all nas files)
- (free sat at a push)
- remote control
- recorder (for live tv to internal storage)
Build a box that does the lot please please. Dont understand why this is not obvious to manufacturers ... probably comes down to licencing i guess.
Scott
nb maybe some slight inaccuracies above , typed this quickly. point still stands though , no 1 box does it all.

Has anyone got a Roku? I'm interested to know if it can do Amazon Prime video. Quite a few websites suggest it will but the Roku website doesn't mention it.
