so, after reading 5 pages of drivel, can anyone recommend somewhere to refurb my Silver S1 5 spokers back to their original gleam. I have the wheels with the tyres etc removed already, and i will have them refitted by a guy I know of who does it properly/carefully.....

just called them. They do the full dip/strip powdercoating thing for £35 per wheel. They get sent to some place in Glasgow and they reckon to have them back in a week.
Were the originals painted when they came from the factory? Is powdercoating going to give me a significantly different colour/finish?
