As i had the fastest average lap time in the final I should have won. But somehow didn't!tenkfeet wrote:After the results of the A Final were announced an appeal was received by the FIA with regard to all but one of the competitors starting the race out of position. The outcome of that appeal is stated below:

Yes, I can only surmise that the clear bribery that was going on to get me in a kart with cold tyres, back fired.... The first shed I got stalled twice at the lights, and the second one had tyres straight out the deep freeze! Thankfully I just booted it when the yellow lights went off, and Ian and Dom behind were quite gentlemanly until my tyres had some heat in.
Top night and was really good to catch up with everybody after so long. Must organise a day out at Raceland in the spring / summer too.

The case has been passed to the FIA Court of Appeal in Paris who said "Ils trichent bâtards"pete wrote:Clearly the red lights were off.tenkfeet wrote:The red lights went off but the external red beacons were still on. Everyone went bar me as Steve Weedgie was waving his arms and the red lights came on again . Much faffing and though we were forming under the yellows, but the race was on and they were gone.

Raceland in the summer sounds like a top idea!

The head is certainly a more gentlemanly area than where I received the knock last yearDominic wrote: Gentlemanly?... Must have had a knock to the head![]()

I'll make sure Raceland happens - it's been talked about for far too long now, so this year I will make sure it's organised. It's a fast track that's not too technical, so may suit some drivers better
