Just read this thread. I must admit my stomach turned upside down when i read the 1st few lines & feared the worst while reading on. Thank god his injuries aren't alot worse.

I've known Brian pretty much all my working life (he was one of the 1st engineers i worked for) & must echo the things said; he's a top bloke.

Really sorry to hear about this, had a brief talk along when standing with Mark.

Hope you have a speedy recovery and well done to Tut for his fast actions which will have helped the matter :thumbsup

I have just copied all of this Thread over to a Word .doc file so that Isobel can take it in for Brian to read.

I am sure that it will buck him up to see that all his friends are thinking of him. He is having his operation sometime today, so I will hopefully have more news later.

Isobel just phoned me with an update on Brian.

He was in surgery yesterday for ten hours, but as it was late evening when they finished she has not had a report yet on how it went. Hopefully will hear later today.
