Passed a yellow Porsche 918 at Loch Lomond yesterday, first of the new generation of hypercars I've seen in the metal. Looked quite chunky, bulkier than I would have thought.

Spotted it a couple of weeks back too heading to Scotland whilst heading south. 8)

ps:- turn the clock back and I would probably look at a good nick Pug 205 1.9GTi again, strip it down and renew suspension etc, give it a mild tune, loved that car.

Takes me back to the LNA's cousin which I had, to save for my TVR, a turd-brown Talbot Samba - same dash and doors IIRC. 954cc, lovely free-revving thing which could be hurled around like mad :mrgreen:

:thumbsup that brings back happy memories, one of my first girlfriends had a Honda just like that and I spent some 'quality time' in it getting to know the fairer sex. :wink:
