Just spoke to a mate that was at Silverstone at the weekend and he said it was awesome weekend and the crowds were amazing.
The promoter must be thanking his luck starts for Hamilton as there were 40000 peeps there on Sat - last year that’s how many came on Sunday!

I'm off to Germany next week for GP -can't wait - avoided going for years cos the Schumacher support would have been too much at his home circuit - it was bad enough everywhere else. Keith

If Germany is anything like Silverstone then take yer suncream... I have blisters!
Absolutely great weekend - thoroughly recommended - no problems getting in and out of circuit either.

For the first part of the race anyway... everytime Lewis went past us in the lead he got standing applause. Needless to say at the end, still disappointed, he still got a great cheer.. certainly got F1 back in the news and on the up.... Now, I hear tickets are on sale already for next season.. where's the link....

Hopefully he'll be well enough to race tomorrow. If he is, should be a good race, hopefully!!

1. We are forgetting he is currently making history with this start in F1
2. When did we all give a monkey about what the press say ? It is the same press that has forgotten to get behind Susie Stoddart & Dario Franchitti.
3. We have not seen his bird yet
4. DC 20th and webber 6th. WTF ?

Do you think you ever will
As for DC - getting worse at the moment - shame they cannot get Webber to qualify and DC to race the same car - I reckon they would get more points that way!!
Cheers,

Lewis has provisionally been given the OK to start tomorrow. He has to have another medical and should start in P10 if the mechanics can rebuild his car. Otherwise, he starts from the pits in the test car.

Hope he starts - we've yet to see him cutting through the pack and I think it'll be a good indicator of just what we have on our hands. Irrespective of possible injury, you'd expect him to push like hell and hopefully show he's not all Mr Nice Guy.
