Not so keen on the price, but I am sure they will still sell.

Re: 311?
Looks too "cute" from the front and has lost some of the subtle aggression of the Exige V6 by chopping the roof.

Steve.
Edited to say;
Just looked at the spec, so have changed my mind on the £82k. Sub 7:00 ring time 0-60 less than 3seconds. Top speed 180 with different gearing.

Race version is £115k
And still no bloody heater

IPS paddles in the pics - Will it be auto only?
(EDIT: They've updated the press release - "A close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox with a Torsen-type limited slip differential, featuring a performance clutch assembly and oil cooler, come as standard on the Road version").

Race version has X-trac sequential box, not road legalFluoxetine wrote:IPS paddles in the pics - Will it be auto only?

Re: 311?
Looks......Interesting, wonder if that front end will appear on the exige 400....
I'm with you Steve on the wheels and tyres too, when do they make an appearance in the options for the exige ?!

More interested in the Edelbrock supercharger with integral intercooler. Wheels would be good as I need a second set anyway, Russel?
Also wondering if it is the same gearbox or have they uprated the internals or just added the LSD.

Re: 311?
What does your car weigh Mike?
With a pax seat and fluids that dry weight of 925kg must be over a ton.
Looks fantastic though and will be an awesome drive.

Re: 311?
Just over 1050kg for the cup. But it has a windscreen, doors and a heater
Steve, wheels are no use, they are an inch bigger than the Exige.
Still have to talk with Msport to find out about the charger and possible gearbox upgrade else it's Hanger 111 for the komotec EX430 kit and a 2bular exhaust system.

Re: 311?
Its grown on me massively in just a few hours but have to agree the weight seems really disappointing. Probably around 300Kg heavier than a 340R, without a windscreen?
Remember Ive scales if anyone wants to "check" their weights.
