Nope, nothing yet. Will post up when I know.

Don't know why she has not contacted me, but as I can drive in the meantime I am just leaving it.

Brilliant, but way beyond my abilities.

I have been discussing with Laura whether I should use this, as nobody outside of my Family and colleagues in Oman know about it. The last time that I was shot down in Oman by a SAM 7, I was over the border into Yemen. The Adoo got to me before my own Forces could rescue me, so I was taken a POW. Surprisingly I was treated pretty well initially, taken to hospital and treated for injuries. We also carried an envelope with Rials 10K in it which was the same amount as sterling. Also a letter saying that if this pilot is returned unharmed to the Sultan, you will be paid a further Rial1 Million.

By this time the Adoo were supported by the Chinese and the Russians, so after recovery I was obviously Interrogated for information as to our military armament and our future Operations. As a pilot I did not have this but they tried anyway, and after they extracted what info I had, they went easy on me. Regardless of what you think you are capable of, it is only a matter of time.

After a month they did a prisoner exchange, collected their ransom, and I was back in business again. Had some therapy but soon got over it. However I think that it is probably worth bringing up in Court to explain the anxiety attacks that I get from PTSD, when I concentrate on one aspect, i.e. not losing the guys ahead of me, to the exclusion of anything else.

Probably a load of bollocks, but will try anything that helps.

Worth a try, but probably not a good idea to post your defense strategy in a public forum with "a load of bollocks" in the following paragraph. :)

How about throwing in a fake flash-back when the prosecutor starts asking questions?

Also, man, you really need to write your autobiography!

I actually meant that the PF would probably treat it as a load of bollocks, I have the feeling that since they fcked it up from the start last April, that have already made their decision, and a ten hour round trip will be a waste of time.

However I will make sure that the 6th and 7th are kept clear as I am off into Hospital today and again on the 22nd.
