ive a leggy shogun sport 3.0V6 petrol. 140 odd k, real tidy and with a full SH. paid 3k for it a year ago. however, ive just spent a further 2.5k on it!(I know, I know! it kind of grew arms and legs!) new petrol tank, brake line, fuel pipes, underseal, discs/pads all round, service, mot, exhaust.

kind of scared it's going to cost more money so may be tempted to sell!

Knocked off £400 so £5,400.

He must like them, just replaced it with a 2008 black one, but the later model. Looked mean, but would be over £10K.

Good work... I had considered them and liked them following test drives. But decided my budget was proper shed £999 territory.

After all that, we've just committed bigger to a Kitchen/Bathroom update than we'd initially thought about...

Is the S8 not 4 wheel drive? Plus you'll not be that far from the sea really?

Yes and yes. It's not about snow though - if you read the first post, Elaine hit a flood in the work car during hellish weather and scared herself good and proper. It's all about ground clearance and making her happier and more settled. As I say though, I think the house upgrades overspend has probably put a lid on this idea for now. We'll see how bad the winter gets - and perhaps revisit a month or two in.
