tcpdump log shouldn't be empty... there should at least be the sent packets, even if nothing comes back. That didn't work.
Still, nmap tells us that 192.168.16.3 is NOT listening on 1433. Are you totally totally sure 192.168.16.3 is the SQL Server? How do you know?
Next, try (from the pi):
# arp -a 192.168.16.3
and note the mac address. Is this the mac address of any interface on the SQL server? (ipconfig /all)

Re: Raspberry Pi ...
Hi all, I have been playing with a raspberrypi again to setup a kiosk. I have it running and it boots to a fullscreen browser and I can get it to go to http://www.bbc.co.uk no problem. However I am hosting the webpages on windows server and that is stopping it from gaining access. If I login on my phone it asks for a username and password before it allows me in. I am assuming thats what is causing the problem.
Anyone know how to get windows authentication sorted so that I can access it from a pi?

Do you want access without password?BiggestNizzy wrote:Hi all, I have been playing with a raspberrypi again to setup a kiosk. If so, enable Anonymous authentication in IIS?
