I'm now in France with the r400 and Toms place. He may have sold his Elise but he bought a hiuse that has loti roads right to the drive way! There are some cracking local roads/country lanes to run about on. Loving it :thumbsup

Liking the pics Alan - should be fun on frolic, although the heat after just driving 25 miles yesterday was pretty "special".

We've decided to drive it to France, feck the trailer. Enjoying the no windscreen aspect as well. Keep me posted on your pre Frolic trip Andy :thumbsup

Just back from a shopping spree, bought digital camo shorts with vents to keep the crotch temp regulated and blend into my surroundings.

Are the duratec cars not an awful lot worse for heat than the K series and sigma cars becuase of the path the exhaust takes? You should be ok/better of than Andy shouldn't you?

True.

A flip-flop-wearing pax of mine burnt his toe once

K series drivers still have it toasty 'down below' - and mine was heaterless :blackeye

In true lotus tradition many things have 2 jobs

The gearbox is also the seat heater.

I still think with the damping set soft and the custom made seats they are very very comfortable cars

It's the transmission tunnel that is brutal on mine. Burnt my leg at oulton.

It's sitting in the barn waiting for another thrash tomorrow :thumbsup

I remember one of the first times i was in a seven (Kayfur's) as a pax - legs nearly fried

That's why although i've removed the carpets from the floor of my seven (all they do is soak up water), i've left the ones at the inside of the footwells - the insulation seems to keep them cooler.
