It really is astonishing how efficient and quick the Japanese are. Like you said Keith, if it happened here the place would still be in chaos!

Amazing.

Do we know the total number of fatalities yet? It's all really sad.

I read this morning that confirmed deaths and missing presumed dead totalled iro 24,000. :cry:

So this time last year, a volcanic ash cloud was drifting around northern Europe.

This month, it's the turn of radioactive particles.

Those Icelanders really do seem to attract trouble don't they!

I see Libya has generally eclipsed Japan on the telly news at present. Lisa's Dad works at Sellafield so my thoughts remain with Japan, I'm afraid.
