Vic,
I can't think why you would want to use mobile me offshore as you would have your phone with you. Mobile me only sync's all your contacts, photo's, calender etc between all your mac's. So if you have got your phone out with you then you don't need it. Also if you have wifi on the rig then use the phone

Main use would be to check between my calendar and Lesley's. You can share the two in outlook.. at least she can look at mine and view any changes. I sometimes need to made quick decisions on dates and courses/meetings etc.. each time I have to phone home and check that there are no clashes with things happening at home... and also when Lesley wants to commit to something she has to check with me first to confirm the time is free..
Mobile me.. update my calendar from here.. check Lesley's calendar from here.. sorted.. kind of..
Thats kind of why I dont commit to that many track days etc because I never know whats planned and she gets slightly grumpy if she finds out that I am off driving around on a road run all day and she didnt know about it.. road run goes in the calendar.. no more excuses for not knowing as she can see it as soon as it is booked in..
Yes I am under the thumb, but I am happy...
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission
