Your posts, along with the 'recent road run' event have certainly focused my thoughts to get some advanced tuition. I don't consider that I am a bad driver (who does), and I will still want to 'make significant progress' on the tight & twisty's, but there will be things that the guys at IAM etc will be able to make that safer.
Years ago when working for Johnson & Johnson Medical, they insisted on all employees driving company cars went on a 4hr 'Drive n Survive' course - they didn't bother to much about speed but assessed the driving standard .... whilst overtaking in the slug of a Cavalier, I couldn't pull in quick enough before the solid white line. I only clipped with 2 wheels and though should have been ok, but that act would have cost me 3 points if the rozzers had seen it![]()
Seriously thinking this could be a great 2012 challenge for all SE members to be IAM trained ??
