Only applies if you are actually under oath Robin.
Maybe slightly exagerated, but still largely true.
Just hope it works.

As I said, mostly true, but had to exagerate slightly to try and get a result.
You would not believe the pain that I go through just trying to keep up with you young guys on the track..............

fd wrote:Friend of mine just recieved a charge relating to 101 on the A90 (not sure if 60 or 70 section), he has previous speeding convictions (which they quoted on the paperwork he was sent) but I think is OK points wise at this time (I'm guessing they are going for habitual speeding by quoting previous).
Safe to assume he'll get a ban ? If so is there any point in getting some legal help involved to try and avoid the ban (preferring fine+points in his case) or is that a waste of time ? Any recommendations for speeding aware legal people ?
Yeah - he shouldn't keep getting caught speeding, but he did . . .
Info appreciated
Fd
I got done at an average speed of 101.8 driving up to Aberdeen uni from Dundee. I got done near Forfar as with a Ducati i was trying to keep up with
I got a court summons and pleaded guilty by letter (told a few porkies a la Tut) managed to get 6 points and £350 squid fine. I was a student and only 18 at the time and already had 3 points for speeding (caught the day after I passed my test) so I expected a ban.
So I guess over a ton doesnt definately mean a ban!
Or maybe i was just lucky

Was talking to a mate recently, and he told how a guy and his brother that we know had hired a Cayman (Cayenne? can never remember which isn't the big truck) for the weekend, and got clocked at 116 on the A9.
They haven't yet worked out who was driving at that point, but aren't sure whether they recally want to know as one of them was stopped a few weeks before for speeding, and turned out he was over the drink limit.
Stoo-pid.
