Roof comes off all Exiges - just it comprimises the limited cool air to the intercooler in the SCed versions
I once had the balls to leave the roof at home for a track day at KH - got away withit as well

ps Did you ever have your radiator changed or is it original as it has sprung a leak? Of course I always preach to everybody to take out the AA Parts and Labour warranty, but they could not cover N3 as it is over 10 years old.
Hi Tut,
Hope all is well with you.. It was changed, but not for an uprated one if that's what you are asking.
cheers,
Cowan

Difficuly to say having never had stickies on the 111S but have driven Gareths Exige on Toyo Proxies. I'd say there's not much in it in terms of outright pace.
I liked the top end rush of the Exige but never quite got on with the brakes (rear circuit lockout at Spa was the clincher) and it used to eat pads... Surprisingly the road handling was sublime (better than my 111S as std. or on Nitrons) although tramlined more due to the tyres.
The 111S pulled really well right to the limiter (although not quite the punch of the Yota) but the single biggest downside was the gearbox. 1st & 2nd ok but 3rd way too long - put a CR box in there and it would match the Exige.

You can on the S.. I had mine done recently. You simply need to get the softtop conversion done.
Excellent! No excuse for me not to dream about an Exige S for my next car then!
I guess you don't really have to get the soft top conversion done if you're willing to risk getting wet and just leaving the roof at home like Jamie did?

I think you could sink a rig in your boot its that wet , and you never know it might come in handy with the odd gallon of petrol...
