Another vote for a Krypton Green S2 Exige S... but it would need to have the black bits from the non-S for me. I don't think the colour coded intakes & splitter do anything for the Exige.
The wife has already told me that we will only be getting rid of our Elise for either an Exige or if we are skint, so who am I to argue.
Failing that... if the price of TVR Sagaris's plummet then eh.. I'd be tempted (if I felt brave or stupid on that specific day). T350's are cracking value already, assuming you can get one with a sorted engine... and they seem to suffer less stack problems than the Tuscan from what I can see. I was right on the edge of getting a T350 before falling for our little yellow Elise...
Andy.

Above stats reflect what Graeme was telling me in when I popped in last. Scottish Elises is dead, long live Scottish Exiges.

Which just goes to show - they did produce a Series 2 exige - merely a Series 2 coupe.
Sad but true.

No the Europa is effectively the S2 VX and was originally intended to be a Proton not a Lotus. It's the softer version of the S2 Elise that the VX was to the S1 Elise.
IMO Mac's right about the Exige. The S1 Exige was the hardcore track version of the Elise. The S2 Exige isn't that much different from a 111R with a hard top.

Nope.
The S2 elise & exige share so many similar components - the only real difference between the car is the cosmetics.
If you were to remove the un-used air scoop & fin you would be hard pushed to tell the difference between the two cars.
Without wishing to offend anyone, the S1 exige is a hardcore car for hardcore drivers (cite Uldis as a perfect example) where as the S2 exige is more of a sanitised car - it could be argued that with the roof, air con, ABS etc then it's a "softer" car than the original S2 elise.

Can't argue against any of that and I am sure Lotus themselves are delighted. They managed to make the Exige a more commercially successful model (I would imagine) than it's predecessor.

i said S1 exige. i'd keep my elise as well though. they're v different cars to me. i like being able to take the roof off etc. LOVE the styling of the S1 exige though. i'd take mine with a K in though, as when i've got the money for both, rebuilding Ks wont worry me.
although now i think about it, stuff it, gimme a supercharged honda'd S1 exige. they're the fu*king mutts.......... that noise is unreal........

Why no 340R option?
