He's still in hospital - had the operation on his ankles & feet yesterday. One was fairly straightfoward, the other less so. I'll let him post up. He's been updating things on facebook. From FB posts, he seems to be in reasonably good spirits.

Hi all,

Thought I should post up and thank everyone for the amazing level of support I have and from everyone,

I am still in hospital, I was hoping to get home yesterday but i was not quite fit enough, thought I could hide my dizziness from the OT, then i nearly collapsed trying to get in and out of the wheelchair.

Anyway, since yesterday I have been successfully transferring in and out of the wheelchair, and this morning I managed to do 5 hot laps round the wards :-)

As has been said I have had an operation on both ankles, the left was a simple operation, the right however, is a lot worse. However, it's fixed the best it can be and I still have to get one operation on my right heel, hoping to get that done next week.

Now I have a wheelchair tho...there is no stopping me! Haha.

Make sure you let know when we need to set out Sky+ boxes. :thumbsup

What's the context of the interview?

First man to drift a wheelchair?
Motor racing exploits?
Oh, maybe that wee bump you had? :blackeye

Should have had some of your strong german porn up on screen, as we all know that's what you are really usually doing on your laptop...

Then give the lassie interviewing a wee knowing nod :thumbsup
