It's arrived, wifi to an itouch is very funky and very well thought out. Genius bit of kit - shame about the user - lots of studying and testing to be done.

How's everyone getting on with these? I'm tempted to get one for Frolic but there's a lot of chat online about them freezing a lot.

Mine has not been that reliable. However I think it has something to do with the formatting of the memory card. When I was at the Nurburgring it would just freeze after starting to record, normally about 4 seconds after.... I reformatted the card using the gopro then it was fine. Not used it since so need to see if it was a fluke or not.

I have two GoPro HD2's and an HD3 on the microlight, all on the same wifi network. Never had any issues with the HD2's but the HD3 has been a bit of a pain. Sometimes freezes and sometimes not. Battery life also seems far worse than the other two cameras. Still a fab piece of kit tho.

I got one last month. Excellent quality.

My one froze too, so formatted the card then updated Gopro.

Make sure that you update the Gopro with the latest Software. (Available free from Gopro Site) Charge battery, drain battery a few times to get the best from the battery and I would get a spare one to take on the Frolic too. I would also buy a car cigarette USB charger (about a £5) to charge up your battery whilst driving incase you forget to charge it in your hotel/B&B.

Random GP query - I have a GP3 Black, and stupidly forgot to bring my class 10 MicroSD card over to Ireland with me.

Thinking of doing a trackday at Mondello on Monday, so no time to get it sent over beforehand (it's a bank holiday weekend over here).

Doubt there's much chance of finding another class 10 card on the shelf over here - Has anyone had any joy running a standard (class 4) card in the black edition?

Realise it'll limit me to a res of 720, but will it work at all?

:thumbsup
