Its our local gala/common riding festival in Dumfries this weekend. I was cornet back in 2006 so i will be doing my bit on a horse and riding the boundries of the town with a couple of hundred other horses. Some might actually have riders on them at the end of the day :blackeye . 1st time on a horse in 2 years so im expecting plenty of pain. Luckily, my hip flasks will be charged with some Port and Bramble Vodka to take away the pain.

For the rest of the day - I'll be hobbling about between the pubs.

Sunday - Sobering up :cheers

640d - Grown up spec

I'm with Gordonians. All our rejects transfer to Grange :wink:

I've got my first veterans game next weekend but don't officially qualify as a veteran for another couple of months.

Hmm, might need the "don't let this pair light your barbeque" technique!

Spent all this afternoon racing about in Honda pilots and rage buggies at Fastrax near Dunfermline. :thumbsup Tonight was spent sitting through my youngests annual dance show at the Pleasance; three lots of 5 min highs for when she was on the stage in amongst 90 mins of tedium.

Tomorrow it's my brother in laws 40th which kicks off mid afternoon :tard

Off to see the folks on Sunday before they head to Mexico the following day and generally taking it easy, hoping I might be treated for Fathers Day. :)

Home for the weekend so after setting the washing machine I'll finish fixing the bike after a recent off and start my virtual flat hunt.

Tomorrow hoping to jump up to see the BSB action, then probably out for dinner with Mandy before an early night so I'm fresh for the new job on Monday.

Too late to post on this?

Weekend started for me on Thursday evening with a spot of climbing;

Friday; morning, get the car ready, and packed for the Achmelvich trip; lunch time meet up with Kenny, Shug and Woody; head up to Dunkeld and meet up with Graeme; then on to Achmelvich. Great BBQ, drinks, and camping.

Saturday; After 4 hours sleep - woken by a certain SE'r who decided to head off for a run at before 7 in the morning :evil: ... Some more SE banter over breakfast; then a decent drive down to Glasgow for a Wedding Reception. Great night out, and good to catch up with some old acquaintances.

Sunday; Up at 6AM, and off to Stirling to do the 'Trossachs Ton', 100 mile cycle. Managed it in 8 hours. Then home, and a good curry, followed by a mega sleep!
