Sad to say I have a selfish friend who has decided to turn 30 that weekend, so I'm out. Shame, as I enjoy the Donny weekend.

Re: DONNIE SHOW 2009 - 17, 18, 19 April
I would expect to be in for the curry though not the sessioned track day. I think I have previously volunteered to run a bunch of people down in the bus, or is that a different trip? Given that the racing happens Sat/Sun and given that I am not doing the track day, I don't really see any need to be there on the Friday.
So, if nobody actually wants a lift and it turns out there's a bit of a scenic route being organised, I could be persuaded to tag along with the sight seers in the Elise. Otherwise, if there is a group of people who would like to get there and back in the bus, I would reckon that would be an after work on Friday sort of departure to accommodate the majority.
Curry on Saturday night - yes please.
Head back after the LOT race on the Sunday.
I don't care about the jumble sale, sorry, show
Cheers,
Robin

Eeee...I'm supposed to be doing an adventure race thing in Durham Dales that weekend...
...but...given I didn't start training for it in December (like I was supposed to), don't have a decent mountain bike for the MB race...And would be generally crap...I might be up for this instead...
It is the 10th anniversary of the first SE meet at Donnie, so there's another reason...And I'd like to watch at least one LOTRDC race this year...
Hmmm - I'd maybe take the Panda / bum a lift from someone...If I do drive, I'd have room for a couple of others, provided they packed light!

As much for my own benefit as others, link to last year's route setup thread:
http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... ngton+2008
Note, anyone driving down with me this year, we shall almost certainly be going through Hawes as my brother is Wallace & Gromit daft.
But rather than the "Nurburgring of Scotland" route shown in the 2008 thread, I may well opt for the almost traditional Edin - Hawick - Carter Bar - Corbridge - Scotch Corner - A1M thing...or the reversal of my route north last year which enjoyed Alston, Teesdale and the like.
Stay tuned.

Re: DONNIE SHOW 2009 - 17, 18, 19 April
Need to check with Sarah on this one. I am booked in to go camping that weekend and have already cancelled the weekend before to do Anglesey.
Then there is the 340 group who are wanting to do a 10 year thing too. Then there is the office Karting night on the Friday. Then there is the option of having a few jars in the back of Robin's bus on the way down after I persuade the Paine brothers to come down! Then there is the most worrying thought of Campbell threatening to take the car down for me if I woos out!

I could probably take one of the Paine's in your car, Sanjoy, and Alistair could take the other in mine
