If I were you, I'd check the reports in the morning as with the amount of snow there's been the roads could be closed first thing, especially if it snows again tonight.

FYI

Two weekend ago mate goes up to Cairngorm (I think) on the Sat for 7 and finds out all the passes were sold the previous night to ppl in Aviemore.

Mate went up to Glencoe this Friday to find out the Gondolas were off due to wind.

Do your homework!

Just drove back down from fort william. mental!! cars buried on the side of the road. Ed tried skiing in the exige. nice four wheel slide going down a steep snowy driveway.

Doesn't look good for tomorrow. Will give you a bell.

what an absolutely fantastic day. Cairngorm was shut, so we headed for the lecht instead. Snow was perfect, although the weather was attrocious. 40plus mph winds, horizontal snow into the face. not nice

Of course, every muscle in my body hurts now, but managed to get up the lifts ok, and do both heel and toe turns down a pretty steep intermediate (blue) run. by the end of the day i was confident enough to play about a bit.

The A9 on the way home was getting treacherous. snow was falling very quickly, and we were stuck in a 30 mph convoy. decided the best course of action was to overtake them all on the duel carraige way bit, and do 60mph the rest of the way, the thinking being, it was safer doing 60 mph on sheet ice and driving snow, than risk being stuck in a car with tom for a night.

haha. seriously though, tom was excellent, very patient with my mate rab, who didnt pick it up so quickly, then pushing me into going for it down the bigger runs. thanks tom.

No Worries mate :D It was a wicked day. The staff at the lecht seemed pretty hopeless though. What a bunch of sour faced bas**rds :x Apart from that, it was ace all round.

Andy, i'd forgotten you're going to Mammoth. It's totally awesome. Lucky git  . When you want these tyres then? No particular hurry, just whenevers easiest for you.
