Definately agree with the pps in taking it slow...
It'll feel like formula 1 compared to the ford ka - and the last thing you want is panning your gorgeous brand new car..

This week is going to be the slowest week of my life I think! It's so much fun seeing friends\family reaction when you show them what you've just bought.
Thanks for all the messages, I'm going to be super careful in it for a good while till I'm use to it. Got to get through the 1000 miles run in, can't see that taking very long though.
I didn't go for black wheels, not sold on them yet. My favourite are the R wheels in silver, for now anyway. The ones on it just now are far to plain hehe.

Love the black background on the dials!
Take Campbell's advice! Take it nice and easy in the crappy winter weather!

I soon learned exactly what he was talking about a few weeks after getting my Elise!

Dont the newer ones have ABS and traction control.. should be alright unless you try something stupid..

I still reckon the Elise is light enough to overcome those gadgets in a hurry

I'll definitely take campbell's advice and take it easy at first
I don't think it has ABS but it does have traction control.

The colour is solar yellow, but it's pearlescent, think that's new.
