1. Mass in 996 C2
2. Boagster S
3. Douglasgdmw in 964 Carrera 2 Targa (i.e. will be the slow boy of the group :D )
4. Ian in 996 Mk2 GT3

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

For the meet, we could meet up at 12:00 in Peebles, drive to Baxters near Selkirk (about 2 hours drive) for coffee/snack, another drive to an Indian near Gorebridge (2.5-3 hours drive).

I am thinking of the route you can find in the Google map link below :

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Inn ... 0&t=m&z=10

Any thoughts?

If that's the case, things don't bode well for 911 owners... :P
Boag did state that he'd had sex in a 911, wasn't any more specific than that...

OK chaps, time to reveal my hand and 'fess up to my Porker history....

The first one, one of the last of the air-cooled, 1997 993 C4, the car I wished I'd kept

Image

Vanity purchase, one of the first 996s - again a C4

Image

An in-between car - a 993 C2, a bit leggy but felt really fast and actually preferable to the C4 as a drive

Image

But I'd already committed to a new 996 C4
Image

That didn't stay long and got my Elise to start doing track days, and have a bit more fun. Then a mate in Houston threw me the keys of his 996 GT3 and the rest, as they say, is history.

Ian, you must really love the 911s.The GT3 rocks. Have you got the ceramic brakes?

Is this a test drive meet ;)

Andy it would not be the same without your GT3. Can Claire drop the keys off the morning before after having it valeted and fuelled. I'll pick it up, least I could do.

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'

S2 Exige
BMW 435d M Sport - 375bhp..... and stops now (big brakes!😁)

Nah, nothing big for me ... just a solenoid thingy.

Car back and feels great. Wanted to leave it with Peter for a week or two for some other 'improvements' too but he was too busy.... :(
