That is cheap ed.

By the way Golden cask is about 2-3% abv higher than carribean cask but essentially the same. Is golden cask travel retail only?

I had this in my cupboard for about 10 years & decided to open it when Duggie Smith & Susan came over for dinner.
As good as anytime ........

A fine dram it was too. I hope that's an old photo and the rest has been long finished.

Like the one we had in Saturday I just do not understand the lack of peat from an Islay distillery. Surely that's that reason d'être ?

That's a 12 Sanjoy. You had the 14. It was an experiment to understand the quality of the spirit. Could only have worked with a high end cut delicate caol ila, would never have worked with an oily lagavulin but I understand what you mean. Still a good dram though.

Tried the 12 unpeated and liked it. Interesting back to back with the peated 12. The sherry finish on the 14 sealed the deal for me though, so I'll pass on that 12. Got a couple of other bids in though.. ;)

If it's half as good as last year, it's not to be missed.

Andrew (or other experts) - I enjoyed the Glendronach - is this a good buy?
