I did pop past on the Sunday during lunch, but you seemed reasonably busy, so opted not to disturb your sales pitch ;)

All that's missing is a wee race car (say caterham) done out in your livery parked outside the display

Caterham 7 - hillclimb spec
Yamaha Thundercat - 2 wheeled toy spec

Gordon Shedden did very well, but his overtaking manoeuvre in race 2 was too early in the race and he put himself out.

However he is lying third in the Championship, no chance of moving up, but would be great if he holds onto that.

what exactly happened? We were at the other side of the track, and all we could hear on the PA was "Shedden has taken the lead" then a car went past, something about "into the pits" and then no Shedden appeared...

He had a contact at the Hairpin whilst trying to overtake, damaged his front nearside body work which fouled the wheel, and pulled straight into the pits.

By the time that it was sorted, he was two laps down, so no chance of a result.

Nice one John.

I would think that Gordon or even BTCC would be interested in photos of that quality.

Thanks :D

If anyone wants a nice desktop wallpaper, then I've uploaded a full size version of this one which came out very sharp for a panning shot (well for me anyway!) - just click on the all sizes button above the image.
