Its a good job you put in your sig that you`ve got tyres - I was getting worried you might have been driving about on the rims

Gorrie's is about the limit for what I think is fair. Bit big TBH. We don't want this looking like a croooze site with the sigs bigger than the posts - doesn't do anything for those reading at work.

Cool folks? 8)
Agree - also huge text sigs serve feck all purpose (given that we`ll all have read them a lot as its not like there is 10,000posters on here  )
True - there is a happy medium (which I'm bound to say is mine - but you may disagree) Plus, all the regulars have read them, but there are new people joining (even if just to lurk) every week.

OK... I've removed the Fiesta blurb as it's not relevant and condensed it a bit... so that there is only 1 line of text... is that OK? I like my pic though.... but if you want it reduced, let me know.

Michael, I think I used Dell Image Expert for that effect mate... but it's on my home PC so can't remember the effect name.

Not having a go mate - to my eyes it's a bit big, but there are no hard and fast rules on these things. I think if it's causing the formatting to go out on some people's monitors (which it's not AFAIK) then it'd be too far.

If you like it as it is, that's fine. We just don't want things to start snowballing and getting page long sigs like some forums....

That's a good yardstick I think. If you have to scroll horizontally with the browser window maximised on a 1024x768 screen then it's too big. Gorrie's doesn't require that so it's cool with me.

Height is tricky to work out a rule of thumb for. Again, not having a go, but Gorrie's is a bit big for me but I have no problem with it and don't sigh whenever I see it ;)
