p.s. i m going to cancel my membership with rac as they have messed me about far too much. If anyone is looking to take out breakdown cover - DONT TAKE A MEMBERSHIP WITH RAC

tried calling the AA to see if they'll help out? If you talk up the problems you've had with the RAC, they may be more inclined to give you instant recovery for your membership?

Did you get any sort of recovery added into your insurance?

Other than that, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas

AA Parts and Labour

I made a claim a while back got £475 after a bit of a scrap so its paid for itself for ages

well i thought i d try... i helped a friend out in the past and they took it to local garage...

MacK - just spoke to Ali so looks like his friend will come pick it up....
