But to be fair Shug, there was a waiting list for new S2's at the time and they came in at around £27.5K

Cheers

But could you put a value on the enjoyment that the car has given you in the last 4 years?

I'd wager it well outstrips the depreciation of the cars.

Following you round clarks was priceless. I was waiting for the next briefing to say that you should pass the cones on the trackside :D

Dinnae get me wrong - it's been worth every penny-pinching minute of the last four years' destitution (yes, DESTitution)

Let's be honest, if I hadn't spent it on the car, it would be cheap booze and expensive women (or is that the other way round... :scratch )

...and I still maintain it's a quicker line... 8)

I've been keeping an eye on the 111R prices and down South dealers have them around £23 and private cheaper........f*** it, I'll hang on to mine for now.....still can't figure out what I'd swap it for, and I haven't yet finished making my Elige :)

Shug - suspension in the garage ready for the swap

If I had to make the call again, there's a bit of me that wonders whether a s1 with the Audi or Honda converison would have been a better way to burn the cash??

Still at least with the yota there's some piece of mind in regards to the mechanicals....... touch wood.
