Weather was poor all day but the sun did come out for the prize giving at 5pm
Times were at best 6 secs slower than dry times with the grip level changing constantly and locally meaning that it would improve in the open but the grip under the trees changed little. but as the rain eased the track went greasy and slower meaning more crashes than I've seen for a long while (not that I looked at any of them) and quite an expensive weekend for Saturday's FTD, Wallace Mezies with the Supercharged Busa single seater, as he wiped out the left of his car at the top of the tunnel (been there myself) and left only one car to run, Jon Rarity took the last run of the day and snatched FTD for himself
FD did his best to hide from the cameras of Jason, Myles and Guy but hopefully some one has a piccy
He bettered some really good opposition this weekend and was heard to say "If I can do it, then so can any of us" All in all a great TSE weekend especially with Neil's results
It was great to see so many faces there too
Fraser without Marianne, Iain Skyenet, Mat Gordon, Marshall Louden, Paul Thin and his Biker Babe Helen, Jason, Myles to name but a few

Was certainly an eventful day. I cant remember the last time i was there with so many offs. Pity about the delays. However John Cowie putting his Fiesta on its roof was quite an achievement, glad he seemed to be completely fine which was more than an be said about his car.
As much as I love Doune, i wasnt not too disapointed about not entering for it on Sunday.

I noticed you were one hundredth slower on Sunday than you were on Saturday.![]()
"if you can read this then I'm on the brakes"
BTW - what does that say on the back of your car?
Cheers,
Eric
