You can also try Dainese as they do helmets as well as their leathers.

However they also have a couple of helmets with bluetooth connections.
I would say that for comfort they may not be as good as Arai,Shoei but they are still a pretty good helmet and have some fantastic colour schemes.
If you need any Dainese kit then I have a contact that may be able to give you a good price.
Cheers

Firstly and most obviously
Buy one that fits your head stupid i know but if you buy mail order you are not totally sure what will be a good fit.
Secondly if you are going to be spending about 300 then go for a CAR helmet not a bike one as they are of different designs in regards to impact absorption. Also if you get a car one if you get the competitive spirit then you are halfway there once you have the proper lid.
Best bet is to get your ass down to demon thieves and try out what they have on offer and some have little removable bits for intercoms.
Also for a quick pop to the shops get a pair of specs from extreme eyewear who is run by one of the jock7s who have a very good range of sunglasses

Yes sorry... not normally fireproof... when i bought my lid (bike shop) there was only one out of around 40 or so selection that was rated for car use... and it was the cheapest.. and the the only one that fitted....Andy G wrote:that depends on the rating of the helmet. My Arai is approved for Motorsport.
Current favourite is Shooomers suggestion!
For quick trips to the shops, I'll use my Oakleys
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

W213 All Terrain
One that fits.
My head is Shoei shaped so that is what I buy. But for an atom I'd get a Simpson Bandit
As for hearing loss try and get some earlugs or better still I believe Shure do earphones which are noise insulating which would do the job and let you listen to your tunes. I'm sure someone on here could point you in the right direction. E2Gs is what you are after, they sound amazing...
(Just dont' use the funky zip up case as it was the zip going through the wire which fcuk my last pair).
