6. ?

Sounds good to me but id like to have a look at it first :) £600 for a shed gives a lot of options
Okay, any more takers? DDtB? Lazy Donkey?

I'm not sure if a 6 way split is best. Poss 4 way split may be a plan as it will abuse the car less. I would expect you should get regular use from this, instead of binning it after an event or two. There may be some negotiation in the price (I would imagine), so if we go to see it, we can find out? Maybe aim for £500/£550? make a 4 way split more reasonable?

If, there are enough of you, and after a viewing you decide you want it, someone will need to decide who's name the car will be registered & insured in.

Ive called the guy, its cover over 120,000 miles so too many for my liking.

Sounds like it would be a great autotester! :D

My word, she ugly! If ever there was a car in need of the grinder of justice!

Is it me or does the nearside front stick out more than the offside?
Nice tyres, Torque Twister...

Huge positive camber on the rear too, maybe it's just on bricks...

Lose the windscreen, front wings and it might be not quite so visually offensive. I'm sure it could be made to sound nice and will have good traction with that engine out the back. Probably be a bugger to get turned in and would be hairy once the tail gets swinging.

There was a couple of beach buggies being used to great effect on the Brittish Championship a few years ago. They originally had alfa romeo (boxer?) engines, but I believe they were due to get Scooby Impreza engines dropped into them... now that would be interesting!

If it has a LSD should be quite good. There have been a few used for autotesting, although they can be a bit fragile. S'pose if it's cheap, it may be a bucket. You'll get a better sorted car for the money buying something more conventional IMHO

Price?

I have seen one used to great effect as an autotest car and i don't think it would be that fragile. Combine it with my trailer and you have a nice towable autotest package. Or you could keep it road legal.

If going to be trailer trash then you could try welding up the diff for much giggles

Also while fwd might be quick rwd is fun

If i was to go for an autotest car i would be tempted to get an MOT failure and get grinder man at it and turn it into a special.

Its sitting in the garage of our tame VX fixer uper - I'll try and dig it out of hibernation on Fri when i get my car back.

we did keep asking "what do you want for it" but then jon spoilt it by talking about jap bike engines and we were off on another tangent
